Deep plumb in color, black cherries, blueberries, caramel, and dark chocolate notes excite the nose. The palate is not disappointed but to the contrary it is aroused by the sweetness of cherries, blueberries, and fig jam. This dessert wine is reminiscent of a Portuguese Ruby Port. Balanced acidity and sweetness complement desserts of chocolate, flan, Brie covered in blueberries, or fig jam in a pastry shell.
